When you buy a PhoneBeagle license your license can be transferred to any new phone. A license can be remotely deactivated in order to free it to be used on another phone. The Recorder Application is installed on a phone and captures and uploads communications and events so that they can be viewed remotely at anytime. The Client Application is used to view the uploaded data and can also be used to remotely customize the Recorder Application by sending Control Commands. Control Commands can also be sent via Text Message. The various Control Commands report on the phone state such as providing an immediate location fix or immediately uploading all communications and events.

Nothing is installed on your computer, but details of communications and events can be saved to your computer.

Multiple phone accounts for your family can be linked together so that all accounts are available from within the same login and user interface.

Communications and events are captured as they occur on the phone and these records are not effected by the phone user deleting information.

All communications are matched against the phone's address book so it is easy to recognize friends or strangers. The phone's entire address book is also captured so you can see at a glance all the people you child frequently communicates with.

PhoneBeagle allows a concerned parent to protect their child by remotely blocking Calls and SMS Text Messages from particular phone numbers. PhoneBeagle allows a responsible parent to remotely block Calls and SMS Text Messages from people listed in the Address Book of their child's phone. If you do not recognize a phone number that is making regular calls to your child's phone then you can remotely block that phone number. If you do not recognize a person in your child's phone Address Book then you can remotely block that person. If you are concerned about the content of SMS Text Messages from certain phone numbers then just block them. Maybe your child is mixing with bad company, if so block those phone numbers. Maybe your child is being targeted by predators or school bullies, if so block those phone numbers immediately.

PhoneBeagle hooks deeply into Android's security infrastructure to provide a degree of protection from being uninstalled by someone that does not know the PhoneBeagle Product Key. In the event that someone manages to disable the phone's security infrastructure, PhoneBeagle can be configured to send a Text Message notification that this has occurred. A Hidden Icon is available on all versions of Android.

All captured communications and events are stored on the phone in an encoded format before being uploaded to a central server over a secure encrypted connection. The data is stored encoded in a database on the central server. The data is only decoded after it has been downloaded onto the customer's computer, i.e. only when viewed by the customer in their browser. No data is decoded until it arrives on the customer's computer. Encoded means the data is not human readable. The PhoneBeagle data warehouse is very secure and our technical administrators have no access to your encoded private data. On the phone, during upload and download and on the Web Application, your data is secure.
